Tại hội thảo "Giải pháp tổng thể cho thị trường bất động sản năm 2012" do hiệp hội bất động sản Việt Nam tổ chức vào ngày 28/3, nhiều chuyên gia đã lạc quan cho rằng thị trường bất động sản sẽ đi lên vào năm 2012 và đạt đỉnh vào cuối năm 2014, đầu năm 2015. HCM (HoREA) và Công ty CP Kiến trúc Xây dựng Nhà Vui giới thiệu “Hội nghị Bất động sản Quốc tế 2009” (Propex Vietnam Conference) với chủ đề: Giải pháp phát triển bền vững thị trường bất động sản Việt Nam. HCM giữ xu hướng đi ngang trong những tháng đầu năm 2010. Chính điều này sẽ kích thích nhu cầu và sức mua của người dân trong thời gian sắp tới.Tại Hà Nội và Hà Tây, giá chuyển nhượng đất nền tại các dự án đã có hạ tầng cùng giảm đáng kể như Khu đô thị mới An Khánh giảm từ 25 triệu đồng/m2 xuống còn 20 triệu đồng/m2 mà lượng giao dịch thực tế vẫn rất thấp. Để phục vụ công tác thu thập dữ liệu, thông tin nhằm xây dựng quy định này, UBND TPHCM cũng yêu cầu các sở ban ngành có liên quan phối hợp thực hiện: Sở Tư pháp, Sở Tài nguyên và Môi trường, Hiệp hội Bất động sản và Cục Thuế TPHCM.

Những cổ phiếu đang lâm vào tình trạng rất khó khăn về thanh khoản hoặc đang thua lỗ trầm trọng như PVL, KBC, ITA, HQC, GTT, VCG… bổng chốc tăng lên 2 thậm chí 3 lần so với cách đây 1 tháng. Đối với một số loại chứng khoán và tài sản được bán trước ngày 01/01/2010, chương trình được mở rộng thêm 3 tháng cho đến hết ngày 31/03/2010. Nói như vậy để thấy rằng, bất động sản chính là lĩnh vực dễ sinh ra các đại gia nhất và điều này được chứng minh khi có tới 7/10 người giàu nhất sàn chứng khoán Việt Nam năm 2012 là do nắm giữ các cổ phiếu bất động sản. Thậm chí do mù mờ thông tin, không hiếm người dân bị lừa bởi các dự án “ma”. Đó là chưa nói đến chuyện “cái cò cái vạc cái nông…”.
